WMMT is delighted to announce to all of our Lexington brethren that there will be a Community Square Dance to benefit WMMT at the West 6th Brewery TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 19, at 7 p.m! The moderately-notorious T-Claw will be on hand to call, and no square dancing experience (at all) is necessary! The Fork in the Road Mobile Galley, one of the most unique food trucks in Lexington, will also be on hand outdoors to serve a special Appalachian-inspired menu (a portion of which proceeds will benefit WMMT). There is a $10 suggested donation for entry, which doesn’t cover food, but all of the dancin’ your feet can handle.
We’ll be talking a bit about WMMT and our work here in the mountains, eating some incredible food, dancing our brains off (don’t you tell us this is impossible), cutting as many rugs as we possibly can, and having a great time. If you are anywhere near Lexington, get over and join us, and if you can’t make it tell all of your kith & kin to swing by. We’d certainly love to see you!
Many thanks to WRFL, the Boomslang Festival, West Sixth Brewing, and Fork in the Road for all of their help in makin’ this happen. For more info, see our Facebook event page (invite your virtual friends! they’ll virtually thank you!), email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at (606) 633-0108. See y’all on the (square) dance floor!
